listen to my new album:

piggybank

The quarantine, a period of standstill and stasis was for me a reason for great reflection and I felt the need to look inside myself to see what I had matured in this period of time; correcting mistakes, growing as a person and as an artist comparing myself to a physical container that had accumulated new sounds, emotions, sensations and all those elements that made me become what I am today.

A container that in order to be opened needs irreversible action, a break, and what better metaphor than the piggy bank that once broken can no longer be fixed? The content that comes out of the container is the sharing of my music with others and at the same time a journey to discover myself, what I had to say and tell after this time.

PIGGYBANK is the Album of Kommando. Five songs including three collaborations that tell my past, present and future story.

The characterizing element of this project is my voice. Singing is starting to make its way through my productions.

Track that talks about me.
It tells what I am and what I have become, my path and evolution.
It is a tribute to what brought me here and to what I want to become with a small recall to the current of French House, one of the genres that fascinated me the most when I approached electronic music.

I also decided to sing to make it even more real and personal.

A melodic techno song. The track is very introspective and dark but it has very sweet sounds that create an interesting contrast.
Sung by Almost Jack and me.

The track that cuts the album exactly into two parts. Sung half in French and half in Italian, a very strong experiment
A tribute to one of my favorite genres, the breakbeat hardcore of The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers and many others rivisited in an hiphop key.

All you hear are things played live expect for some rock and funk samples.

This track tells the story of a clubber who in one night moves from disco to disco, passing through techno clubs up to the suburbs, touching also smoky jazz and blues situations.
This path is punctuated by elements and tools that you would hardly expect to find in this genre, the track moves and transforms itself.

Last track of the album with an interesting collaboration. Here too we find something dance revisited in a serious way.
The percussions are from Brazilian samba and 1930s jazz, with the addition of Tibetan bells. Despite the complexity of the rhythm, the riff is very simple and catchy.
